General terms and conditions of RecycleClub
These general terms and conditions, referred to below as the ‘general conditions’, are intended to make the procedure for selling ink cartridges via our website as clear as possible.
The user of the website www.recycleclub.com is referred to below as ‘the seller’. By sending packages of empty cartridges, the seller fully and unreservedly accepts these general terms and conditions which govern transactions between the seller and Recoll B.V. trading as RecycleClub (referred to below as ‘RecycleClub’).
The sending of cartridges to RecycleClub for a fee in accordance with the value shown on the website www.recycleclub.com is referred to below as the ‘sales process’, the ‘purchasing process’ or the ‘return process’.
RecycleClub reserves the right to change the general conditions at any time. The general conditions apply on the day that the return process on the website is completed and RecycleClub confirms the return. The seller may be any adult natural person or any legal entity, educational institution, administration, association, etc.
The general conditions apply to the sending of cartridges to RecycleClub for a reimbursement of the value indicated on the website www.recycleclub.com. Before the distance contract is concluded electronically, the text of these general conditions shall be made available to the consumer.
Price updates usually take place quarterly and will in that case usually be shown on the website at the beginning of the quarter. The rate applied is the online rate on the day of your shipment. Your confirmation e-mail serves as proof. The price indicated on the site is not contractual and is subject to change without notice.
Value of cartridges to be shipped
Recycleclub only pays a fee for HP and Canon inkjet cartridges, listed on the website. Inkjet cartridges that are not mentioned on the website, ink tanks and toner cartridges will not be reimbursed by RecycleClub. You can hand these in at your local electronics retailer where you will find a Recoll collection box.
Only the cartridges confirmed by the sorting and counting carried out by RecycleClub are valid for the payment for sent cartridges. After this compliance check, you will be sent a grading report by e-mail with details of your final payment.
If any of the cartridges handed in show defects, especially on the circuit board, no compensation will be paid. When a cartridge is remanufactured it has less monetary value than an original cartridge.
Shipping, sorting & duration
After going through the sales process on the website, RecycleClub will send a shipping label that the seller will use to ship the cartridges. This shipping label will be adjusted to the desired carrier based on the seller’s selection. This can be DPD, DHL or Mondial Relay in order to always offer an optimal and relevant choice of carrier to the seller.
This shipping label is free when the seller indicates a value of €25 on the website. If this value is lower than €25, RecycleClub will charge the seller €7.50 for transport costs.
If the shipping label has not been sent, please contact us at email@example.com and we will send you the shipping label again.
The seller should take the greatest possible care when packing and sending the cartridges. In order to reduce the number of damaged cartridges to a minimum and to guarantee you the best possible profit, we ask you to use a sturdy cardboard box and to pack the cartridges well to prevent them from being damaged during transport. If returned cartridges show scratches or bumps on the circuit board, no compensation will be paid for these.
The risk of damage and/or loss of products rests with the seller until the moment of delivery to RecycleClub.
RecycleClub will take the greatest possible care in sorting and documenting the cartridges handed in by the seller.
RecycleClub will sort the accepted shipment of cartridges by the seller as promptly as possible, but at the latest within 30 days, unless another term is agreed upon. If the delivery is delayed, or if an order cannot be filled or can be filled only partially, the consumer will be informed about this within 30 days after he has placed the order. In this case, the consumer has the right to terminate the contract without charge.
During the sales process, the seller is asked which bank account number should be used for payment of the value of the cartridges. The bank account number provided is the one used for the payment. When the seller selects a charity to donate the value to, this also implies a payment to the bank account number of this charity.
The seller has the right to change the bank account number themselves in their account or have it changed by contacting us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
RecycleClub will pay for the shipment of cartridges after sorting by the seller as promptly as possible but at the latest within 7 days, unless another term is agreed upon.
Recoll B.V., trading as RecycleClub, processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide such data to us. We will process this data carefully.
